Stepping away from my keyboard is not the same as walking away from writing. One thing I can say is that I think about writing a lot. Not just how to say something, but also what to say.

I have idea notebooks stashed around my house and workplace. I have my special pen and notebook that like to be with me almost all the time, and a tiny little handy dandy voice recorder that’s great for those fleeting idea nuggets when I’m driving.

One thing I have thought quite a lot about lately is that all my stories, articles, or essays carry double weight. Yes, they each indeed need to be able to stand alone, but taken together they paint a larger picture of me and my world.

So during the past few days, I stepped away from my keyboard and spent some time reviewing my more recent works.

It seems I like to write about men.

I’ve written a few hundred stories since my arrival on this platform with a little over 5% of them…
