Medium — Can Grammarly Use & Others Be Mistaken For AI Use?
Do the programs we use to help us improve and edit our written words act as AI, which might be causing Medium to suspend writers’ accounts?
Lately, I have heard about many writers who have received suspension emails from Medium. Many have sworn that they haven’t used AI to write their power of words.
Can Grammarly, Quillbox, and others we use to aid us grammatically be the cause of our power of words seems like AI has written it.
Recently, I purchased Grammarly for 50% off. I noticed how many of the grammar corrections are like AI is doing the correcting. I don’t like some of the suggestions it gives and disagree with it. Yes, these grammar software are helpful, but lately, it seems as if they want to take control of my stories or articles from my brain.
I like using my brain. Writing is a brain exercise for me.
Grammarly is rewriting an entire paragraph, changing my power of words to its own.
My stories are first written in my brain and then transferred to my computer. Then, Grammarly gets a chance to edit and assist me in improving my power of words through spell check and other grammatical issues my story might need.
