In life, I know we all have a story to tell, but we always choose who to share it with and how to react to it. You have options to work on yourself to prove a point and change what people think you are or sit and let them know you the way they want. I don’t know how it feels when someone just goes silent on you, but personally, it’s not a good feeling at all. If someone makes a mistake, you should approach them and tell them to correct it, rather than backbiting the person and acting like everything is okay when you are with that person. I consider such people as cowards; they will not stand for the truth because they know whatever they are saying is just a lie. To make it worse, these are the same people who act as friends.

I felt so bad when a friend of mine told me a story where he was being mistreated by his own family friend. He had just moved to a new city, and since he had no relatives there, the family friend was the first person he thought could help him by hosting him for a while so that he could make arrangements to buy essentials before moving out. Life was quite good at the beginning; he was given a warm welcome, and everything he needed was provided. Unfortunately, life started changing…
