Most people love summer, and I do too. I love all the seasons that we are blessed to experience in human life. There are the very cold winters, when we see trees that resemble sticks, covered in snow and frost. We have the cool spring days and the warm summers when flowers bloom, birds fly across clear blue skies. The rains come with drizzles, storms, cyclones, winds that clear the roads and water the lands as the earth celebrates once again, with new crops and plants. Autumn arrives, and the leaves fall off the trees and fly away in the cold, sweeping breeze. Animals and humans prepare for the arrival of a cold winter, as the north winds blow and the cold rivers flow.

Summer can sometimes be a few weeks in the West. While in the East, summers can stretch over a period of two to three months. We hear about people having strokes and falling on the streets. A number of people die from the extreme heat in the East. I have read and heard about people dying in the heat in India. There have been instances when taxi drivers have died in their cabs, waiting for customers to ride their cabs. Most homes and families that can afford air-conditioners have them installed in India. While those with lower incomes have their fans working throughout the day. The intense heat is too much…
