POEM IS NOW CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS

Please read to participate.

Following nine successful collaborations, here is the tenth experiment. Don’t be shy — if you love to write poetry, please contribute, even if your name is not on the call list. It is a great way to connect with other poets and testify to the creativity of group thinking. While this will appear random, I do not believe in randomness as being accidental. This poem will unfold as it is supposed to unfold by poets meant to come together.

This month’s poem will call on poets to show their depth as we explore Catharsis — “the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions (Oxford Dictionary).”

This is a free-verse poem. The only constraint is to connect the previous line however you see fit, creating a flow.

One line per poet.

To participate, you must set comments to MOST RECENT (click the ^ by Most Relevant at the top of the comment section).

If you are the first to comment, you will set the stage. Put #1 by your line…
