THE COLLABORATION IS NOW CLOSED

Following ten successful collaborations, here is the eleventh experiment. Don’t be shy — if you love to write poetry, please contribute, even if your name is not on the call list. It is a great way to connect with other poets and testify to the creativity of group thinking. While this will appear random, I do not believe in randomness as being accidental. This poem will unfold as it is supposed to unfold by poets meant to come together.

The idea for this month’s poem came to me after reading a poem by Ruth Boukhari extolling spring. She lives in Australia, while I am falling into the colors of autumn. How cool is that? We are on the same planet but experience completely the opposite seasonally.

Of course, some friends live around the equator and follow the middle path.

At first, I thought that odds might respond to moving into spring while even responses respond to fall, but it seemed too complicated. So, instead, follow the lead of the previous line but keep the season you are in mind, and we will see what sort of seasoning we’ll create:)
