Whispers Amidst the Noise: A Reflection on Friendship
Prevailing Whispers on a Friendship Conundrum Amidst Noise.
In all this noise,
there was a whisper —
a whisper loud enough
that made the noise irrelevant,
howling, “Do you have a friend?”
(Thinking) A simple “yes” would put this to an end.
As the lips began to utter,
the brain got puzzled,
pondering, Who do you call a friend?
“A person who does not remember you for their needs,
but is with you for your deeds.”
So I leave a lesson at the end:
Be careful whom you call a friend,
for they are the ones who go along with you until the end.
Try not to bury your whispers,
as amidst all this panic, they might bring you peace.
We all have those voices constantly in our heads, which can be a source of liberation or agony, but what’s good about those voices is that they somehow know what we truly want. So the essence here is that those voices shouldn’t be ignored and are worth reflecting upon as they might tell us what to do or, at worst, what not to do.
