wrote a poem
yesterday —

some good lines,
some bad lines

it collected about
twenty views

twenty-five if
I’m lucky

before Algo the
Assassin
shot it

dead — there would
be no funeral

no alligator tears
from Coach

no apology letter
from a Booster

no better luck
next time

from some bored
nommer

just profound
SILENCE —

the lovely peace
of Better Internet

birds, flowers, spring
sunshine

a rainbow of clapless
anonymity

beautiful bliss of
happy ignorance

maybe a distant
teasing tinkling
