Flaws

A poem of insecurities.

I always wanted to bleed
Because I never could see
What they saw
When they look at me

I wanted to be free
From my own mind and soul
So I could live in peace
Without pain taking its toll

But alas it’s not possible
I could never be peaceful
My flaws they’re lurking
I can’t help but be shameful.
