Knowing and loving and growing

each day, the process painfully beautiful;

Those tear-jerking memories

Knock at my door tonight

As we passed by each other

Not even sparing a look

As if our looks would bring back those memories

Crush and thrash our defence and excuses;

Laughing , loving eons ago only to end up as strangers.

Are strangers all we ever will be?
