Think Christianity is dying? Then, you don’t understand how Catholicism works: The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church — so The Atlantic’s hit piece on the Rosary made sales soar.

“What was so offensive in the article is just the insinuation that somehow the rosary as Catholics pray it is caught up in some sort of, you know, mindless militancy,” Bishop Robert Barron said, calling for Catholics to pray for their attacker.

Another politics-focused writer tries to fit Catholicism into his ideological narrative

The attack: Atlantic writer Daniel Panneton (a non-Catholic) claimed Rosaries had become an “extremist symbol,” used by a “growing contingent of Christian nationalism,” and “a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or “rad trad”) Catholics.”

The response: Most observed the thesis is inaccurate and anti-Catholic, showing little understanding of the Rosay. Sales soared. Below, Father Donald Calloway’s talk calling the Rosary “the most powerful weapon on earth”…
