Or, the futility of arguing about our beliefs

My matriarch used to say in her uneducated wisdom that evil destroys itself; God has more to give than the devil has to steal. I still believe in these and other truthful words of my loved departed mother.

Most of the time, discussing with other about our faith is useless! We can’t transmit faith to someone else just because we want!

I prefer, in my Christian vision of responding to unbelievers, to pray to the Father who knows everything, can do everything, forgives everything, and created everything from nothing.

“For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8

His beloved Son, at the height of his sufferings, cried out for mercy, forgiving his executioners. Forgive them Father, they don’t know what they do!
