Why do Catholics go to Church Every Sunday?

When I was much younger, probably even before my teenage years, I remember having a very serious problem with Church.

Then, I was still attending catechism classes for my First Holy Communion. When we reached the 10 Commandments and the Precepts of the Church, I couldn’t help but wonder why any of it was necessary.
