1, Turkish angora
This is an ancient breed from Turkey, they have long silky hair which can be of various tones but is most commonly white with eyes of two different colors, they are very intelligent and can learn to obey various commands, they like to live with only one or two persons at most since they require peace and quiet. they are also not usually fond of other pets and prefer to be the most important in the home.

2, Persian
As the name suggests this breed comes from ancient Persia, their hair is very long and requires a lot of grooming, they stand out for being intelligent but also shy and quite lazy, they sleep a lot and can. live with other pets although they may not be enthusiastic about it.

3, Himalayan
The Himalayan’s origins lie in a cross between Persian and Siamese cats, they have a long thick, and soft coat, with beautiful eyes indicative of the siamese breed, they have a familial serene, and affectionate character, they are also very intelligent and should get along with other pets.

4, Norwegian forest cat
This breed is a direct descendant of the great nordic wildcats which traveled on Viking longships, they have a lively mischievous, and affectionate temperament. they are also very strong and fast so keeping them cooped up in an apartment is inadvisable, they are better suited to farms and houses with gardens where they can live with other animals.

this large cat is of north American origin, they have a dense coat of soft hair that can display a wide variety of colors and patterns. in regards to their character, they are considered one of the most affectionate, friendly, and intelligent cat breeds. they like family and do well with kids, they are also a water-loving cat which is known to swim, they can be lazy and gluttonous so their diet needs to be well controlled.

6, Birman
This is a spectacular breed with long silky shiny hair, they stand out for being very furry and for having gloved feet with beautiful pure white socks. in terms of character, they are very intelligent, mischievous, active, and social breed, they do not like to be alone and are very affectionate with family including other companion animals.

7, Somali
This cat is related to the Abyssinian cat but unlike the latter, their hair is semi-long, dense, and silky. The range of colors varies on reddish-brown, cinnamon, and smoke. they are very agile cats with a rambunctious character, they love to climb and are very active still they tolerate other pets well and are affectionate and sweet, they need a garden or terrace to develop their muscles and vent their high energy levels.

8, Ragdoll
This breed originates in the USA, their hair is long or semi-long and soft, fortunately, they do not tend to incur knots in their fur. a particular characteristic is that they tend to totally loosen their muscles when cradled in your arms, they are not very vocal and only emit a weak mulling when they do use their voice, but they are very clean, affectionate, and intelligent house cats which are particularly fond of children and old folk, but passive and withdrawn around other animals.

9, Balinese
This cat comes from the united states and was officially recognized as a breed in 1960. they are similar to the Siamese but with longer and silkier hair, their physical characteristics include a triangular head, large ears arranged in a v-shape, and beautiful blue eyes. these cats are usually very devoted and faithful to their guardian ignoring the other inhabitants of a home, however, since they are calm and patient they can receive attention from the rest of the family.

10, American curl
This breed originated in California in 1981, their most notable characteristic is their folded back ears, the hair is long but not very dense which causes it to lay flat on the body without being straight, their eyes are usually yellow, green, or blue and the range of colors of their coat is extensive, they are an intelligent social familial, curious and mischievous breed and they like to live with people and are friendly with other pets.
