Dear Mom,

I want to commend you for your recent success. The word around my cat tree says you came close to ruining my life, but fortunately, you came to your senses and came home empty-handed.

Let’s be clear. I agree. Kittens are cute, but one has no place in this household. Do I need to remind you of the mayhem I caused in my younger days? How could you forget? I’ve only just turned two.

I was so mischievous that you wrote a children’s picture book snitching about my shenanigans. Why would you want to put yourself through that again?

I know. I’ve said it before. Kittens are cute.

What were the babies doing at your office, anyway? Someone should have told their mother to keep her legs closed and her tail between her legs. And you, Mom, must stop melting when adoptable darlings come of age.
