Every night, before bed we give the cats their overnight snack. Every night before this happens, they settle at the top of the stairs and pose in waiting position.
The picture never varies, no matter how many times I take it.
Notice how Shadows’ ears are folded into quasi airplane mode, signifying that we are a bit later than she likes.
A moment after I took this shot, she headed into Bruces’ office and began to meow loudly and demandingly at him. Her tone gets more and more whiny the longer he takes to head downstairs.
