First of all — Welcome and greetings to all our new writers and followers! Love to have you here.

2022

2022 was an incredibly busy and annoying year for me. On top of the usual gardening frenzy that happens each spring and summer, I was diagnosed with Colitis, and managed to aggravate a previous low back injury.

I had hoped to get a mid summer Mewsletter out, but it never happened, so here we are, in the last month of 2022 and it’s just about Catmas again.

We had planned to have a monthly feature where we would highlight the editors picks of stories and photographs. This unfortunately fell to the wayside when I found myself both unwell and up to my ears in client gardens from March until this past November. We do hope to bring Editors’ Pick back at some point.

I know what you are thinking, “The Way to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions”, so probably your editors are headed downward …LOL

Editors’ Personal News

In September 2021 we lost our Russian Blue, Gandalf, leaving the fluffy and flighty Taffy as the only feline resident. After much soul-searching, just this past November, we decided to bring a new rescue kitty into our home.

Shadow has been with us since November 25, She has not made a lot of advances in trusting us. We are persisting slowly and carefully, trying to gain a little ground with her.

Catness Writing Guidelines

I hate to keep harping on this, but much as we love to welcome new writers, we ask that you carefully review our submission guidelines prior to submitting your article.

Looking to 2023

We hope that you all have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve, and that 2023 will be a year of hope, health and happiness.
