Five Things I Can No Longer Control As A Cat Mom
The cats have taken control of the household and I’m here for it.
I’ve been a cat mom for a while now. I love spending time with my cats, and they have enriched my life in so many ways.
I’ve also noticed that things happen during my time with my furry companions that I have very little control over. I let many of these things happen to ensure the happiness of my cats.
1. The number of empty boxes in my house.
Cats love boxes. They love all boxes no matter how big or small they are. I currently have an empty box that once housed a lamp I bought two months ago. The lamp is now resting on an end table and is doing its job of providing soft light for the room.
The box is also in the living room. Its job is to provide a hiding spot or a safe place for my cats. The box is still here because my blind cat Scout found it soon after I brought the lamp home and climbed on top of it. It’s her’s now. She likes to sit on it and listen to the sounds of the condo.
There’s also a larger box that sits in the middle of the living room. Several times, I’ve tried to remove the box because I thought my cats were done playing with it. I’ve even gone as far as to pick it up only to find…
