There once was a feline named Chucky

Just like the doll — real and plucky

A “Good Guy” without the striped tee and dungarees,

His golden-grey fur stood out among the kitties

A pampered cub who counted himself lucky.

The sibling was christened Annabelle

Calm and composed in her shell

Not a haunted one, this fur baby

Didn’t play much with the others, but maybe

She was just happy within a cardboard box to dwell.

The tiniest from the litter was Zee

Not at all imaginary, but reality

Preferred humans over cats

Loved her cuddles, hugs and pats

Very selective in her choice of company.

The Trio
