Give me cats over dogs any day. They have a composed and self-assured manner, which some people mistake for arrogance. Everyone who has (had) cats knows they are loving towards their owners, that's what counts.
To me, cats are so much better pets than dogs.

Of course, little pookie-pook is an angel inside the house. Turning into a hellhound outside. They are walked by their owner, a paid walker, or any idiot who wants their arm almost torn off. Walker and dog tugging on the opposite sides of the leash as if their life depends on it.
On or off leash, most owners are unable to control their dogs, to have them behave. Cats are cute! Licking their paws, purring, and their little chitter-chatter towards birds. They are less of a nuisance than dogs are.
Boy, was I wrong.
The thing is, I didn’t realize I was spoilt. Our indoor cats were on a leash when outside, and content with the world.
