I Love My Cat More Than He Loves Me

It’s like high school all over again

I’m standing in the kitchen as Uri walks past me, his tail up.

“Hey, Uri. Hi!” I say as he passes me.

I feel as if I’m back in high school, and the older guy I have a crush on doesn’t even know I’m alive but still expects me to feed and clean up after him.
