Remembering Gandalf — April — May 2012
Gandalf did not allow Taffy to stand on ceremony with him for long. She continued to hiss and pull faces at him, but right from when he arrived, in early March of 2012, he just calmly and deliberately continued to place himself into her space. He never responded to any type of hostility — just let it be.
One of her favorite hang-outs was and is in a sunny window. Gandalf thought this was a great plan and joined her on top of the conveniently placed bookshelf, although he did manage to remain at the farthest end of it. You can see from her huffy expression that she is not totally pleased about his arrival.
Gandalf had established his total right to be on the bed from the first night he spent here. It remained his home base until he passed.
