My First CAT Talk
Hello, my name is Jack, and welcome to my CAT Talk. The woman is letting me tell my version of the story here. You may have heard about me in this previous piece.
Now for today’s CAT Talk.
The humans have been doing that thing again. Saying odd things to me.
“It’s going to be ok.”
“It won’t be that long.”
“You’ll be ok.”
Never a good sign.
Will they be leaving me alone again? I have not seen the big fabric boxes that they bring out when they leave me for long times. But they often wait until the last minute to pull those out.
Will just one of them be leaving for a few days? That’s started happening again recently. But again no way to tell until the last minute.
Will the woman be leaving during the day again? I’ve enjoyed her staying at home with me. I sit with her while she stares at the glowing box all day. I like her better now because of it. She says she’s my “buddy" now. I like…
