CBD Influence is an online platform and network which aims to connect businesses and influencers operating within the global Cannabis industry.
The CBD Influence platform provides many features to enable cannabis focused businesses to hire the most adequate marketers and affiliates to drive promotion of their brands. We focus on providing pin point, targeted lead conversions for their products or services.
Influencers benefit from being able to advertise their services for brand, product or service promotion, to a refined network of legal Cannabis companies. Companies who are looking to expand the reach and impact of their content
marketing campaigns.

What makes the CBD Influence platform unique is the deep integration that we are building into our platform. This will enable users to conect with the most popular social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This provides important analytical data sets, which can be crucial to forming, monitoring and coordinating a successful influencer marketing campaign.
Above all, CBD Influence is geared around ‘responsible’ marketing for cannabis based products. Through our survey of over 30 qualified cannabis professionals, we’ve quickly identified that there is a strong need for education for the global cannabis industry to properly continue to thrive. This was highlighted, as the regulators needing more education, to be able to pass the correct regulation when it comes to legalisation. This in turn, determines the law for sale and marketing of cannabis derived products. This unfortunately, has led to a lot of ‘red tape’ when it comes to advertising cannabusinesses and products.
For example; a business based in the UK, selling to UK residents is looking for the right influencer to promote their products. However, the only influencers they can find are based in Canada, and have no idea about the legislation for the marketing of cannabis derived products in the UK. This presents a problem, as the influencer may advertise the product incorrectly, AGAINST what is considered to be lawful by UK standards. This leads to the influencer and eventually the company being open to potential legal action, should any complaints be brought forward.
Similarly, imagine the influencer themselves is not very educated and instead is just a cannabis smoker, with a few thousand Instagram followers. Let’s say the influencer is hired to promote CBD bud/flower, then they get on camera and start making a bunch of unfounded medicinal claims about the product. Again, if a complaint is filed this could lead to a massive legal action against the company or manufacturer!
How does CBD Influence solve this problem?
CBD Influence is attempting to solve this issue, by building a region specific education and advice portal, to serve both influencers and businesses within the cannabis space. This will help influencers and businesses to understand the different legislations surrounding marketing within specific regions. Moreover, our platform will allow influencers to indicate on their profile the regions which they have completed ‘the knowledge’ for. This allows businesses to make smarter, more informed choices when selecting an influencer for their campaigns.
How much will it cost?
Initial and early membership, will secure free use of the platform during it’s start up stages. We hope that it is possible that we can maintain the free membership of the platform indefinetly.
The idea is that our platform is free to use, with minimal joining requirements. KYC and identity checks will need to be completed, for both businesses and influencers.
Staying true to freelance and gig economy style platforms, we will charge a small fee to either side (business/influencer) for use the use of our platform. This fee is nominal and will be based on a sliding scale. The more costly the campaign, the lower the % of fee.
When are you launching?
The CBD Influence platform is still in its formative stages. Our team are working hard currently on meeting with industry professionals and regulators. We are speaking to influencers, compiling research and building out the first platform MVP.
We aim to have our MVP beta test available to businesses and influencers within Q1 of 2020. The official platform launch will follow soon after.
