Due to its many health benefits, CBD (Cannabidiol) is quickly becoming a popular topic amongst those seeking an all-natural alternative to treating their medical conditions. However, for those who are new to CBD, learning about the different ways to use CBD, then figuring out the best method for themselves can be a challenge.

First of all,

There are a wide variety of ways to use CBD; however, not all of these methods are equally effective, and each has their pros and cons. With that being said, we wanted to write about the top 3 most effective ways to use CBD, so you can choose which is best for your lifestyle.

Let’s get to it.

1. Vaping CBD

Of the many different methods to use CBD, the first on our list is vaping CBD.

“Why?” You may ask.

Well, it’s simple really. Aside from offering all the positive benefits of traditional vaping (relaxing, lifestyle, great flavors, casual etc.), to vape CBD is actually one of the most effective ways to use CBD because it delivers CBD directly into the bloodstream through the lungs. This allows the CBD to impact your body faster and provide a higher bioavailability of CBD than other methods that cause CBD to go through your body’s various filtration systems.

Still though, if you’re not into the #vapelife, then this may not be your method of choice, which bring us to our next option.

2. Using CBD as a Tincture

So, what is a tincture exactly?

CBD Tinctures are highly concentrated liquid extracts that are made by extracting the CBD from the hemp plant into a solvent. A solvent is a liquid base such as apple cider vinegar or vegetable glycerin, which when combined with the CBD extract, allows CBD to be converted into a liquid concentrate drops. These drops can then be administered sublingually, meaning to drip the CBD oil salivary glands under the tongue.

While not as effective or tasteful as vaporizing CBD, this method allows the body to easily breakdown CBD into the body, and deliver its benefits much quicker and more efficiently than using traditional edibles and capsules.

3. Consuming a CBD Capsule or CBD Softgel

While vaporizing CBD provides higher bioavailability and CBD tinctures provide quicker results, our next option provides a benefit that many are concerned about:

Discretion and ease of use.

When this is your primary concern, CBD Capsules or CBD Softgels are going to be your best option.

CBD Capsules can come in many different forms with different casings and concentrations, which allows discreet ease of use, and accurate dosing. With capsules you don’t have to deal with the stigma of vaping or the uninviting flavors of tinctures, but, of course, capsules do have their downfalls. For example, capsules take longer to take effect and deliver less bioavailability of CBD to the body because our bodies take longer to break down a capsule, and a capsule will also go through most of our bodies filtration systems.

Still, it’s a great option for many users, and to offset the decrease in bioavailability, you can always take a higher concentrated capsule.

Other Ways to Use CBD

Now, aside from the methods we’ve already discussed, there are numerous other ways to enjoy the benefits of CBD such as:

  • Consuming CBD edibles
  • Administering a CBD topical or spray to your skin
  • Drinking CBD-infused water
  • Smoking a high-CBD marijuana strain

Every day, more and more ways are being discovered, and this is one of the greatest things about CBD — it’s so versatile and diverse. Whatever your lifestyle is, there’s a method to use CBD for you.
