CBX Attends San Francisco Blockchain Week (SFBW)
SFBW was successfully held from 28 Oct to 3 Nov 2019 in San Francisco and Berkeley area. It was a blast, the crowd was passionate like usual, it was a gathering of blockchain enthusiasts.
For CBX, it had been a very busy yet productive couple of days in San Francisco.
5 days, 2 main conferences and countless individual meetups and afterparties, it was a great opportunity to connect with like-minded folks in the crypto space. The limbo period in the crypto field has acted as a natural filter.
It was a gathering of leading players in the crypto-space: Libra, Coinbase, Chainlink, Dfinity, Web3, leading exchanges and Venture Capitalists were all there. Crypto Celebrities like Vitalik Buterin’s talk on “Hybrid Layer 2 Protocols was a full house with lots of standing audiences. The talks covered a wide range of topics including but not limited to security, stable coins, privacy, economics, technological progress, Defi, policy and regulations and future of money. It attracted audiences from all fields as well as researchers from leading universities.
CBX exchange’s Head of Business Development (North American region) Emily Ka Yi Sit was thrilled to be there and represent CBX to chat with emerging projects and there was an overwhelming amount of interest from the crowd to learn more about CBX.one. CBX acts as a boutique-style exchange and aims at helping exchange users to pick the best-emerging projects to be invested in given the noises in the space. The whole crypto space is improving, there are new ideas pop up every day and it is not easy even for insiders to keep up with the trends and the news, the conferences are definitely helpful to connect with industrial players to discuss the hottest!
There were Halloween events happening during SFBW and there were “bitcoin’’ desserts serving the crowd. It was an unforgettable experience spending time with other blockchain enthusiasts and eating “bitcoin” during Halloween. CBX team is excited to keep riding the crypto journey with the dear users and succeed together.
