A Casual Introduction of CC Labs
CC Labs is an entity unlike any auditing firm or developer shop out there today. We’re a group of like minded individuals who believe in the cypher punk message that this industry was initially built on. We don’t compliment the noise, nor care to see our provisions and product suite used as sole marketing tactics. You won’t see “Web 3” or any of that on our website or promotional material. The only grift we’re guilty of is hopping on every testnet under the sun over the last 5 years, and maybe owning too many miladys at one point as well but that’s another write-up talking point. As a diverse group composed of various industry backings we simply wish to provide our expertise to those who are here to build and make a difference, no matter how grand, trivial, or small their admirations are. We’re here to help builders build their visions in a secure and efficient manner.
We’re industry professionals who started out just like many of our peers out there today. Trading the worst low caps you could imagine, alongside holding to the premise that bitcoin could introduce a new permissionless body of financial exchange with other various libertarian and rebellious views that cryptographic enabled digital assets and product suites could construct from a hopeful narrative. Over the years we’ve refined our craft and got hands on with industry professionals from all backgrounds to learn what makes an entity great and we’re excited to finally bring this vision to reality.
What We Offer
Smart Contract Audits
Smart contracts have came a very long way over the years, with a myriad of dev tooling, resource docs, and libraries available to guide and assist on various best practices we still are in a very young industry that’s constantly evolving from a technical standpoint. We believe that in development there can never be a fail-proof instance that will provide the silver bullet to security failures. In our methodology we undergo a standard workflow process that enables our auditors to get hands on with your team’s devs and allow potential findings to be addressed and revised in a collaborative environment.
Chain Audits
When it comes to protocol/blockchain audits there needs to be a hands on and thorough engagement from start to finish without the gimmicks. We understand that protocol security is the upmost important piece to secure for your project’s foundation. Our auditors have amassed years of GO/Rust/and Solidity experience from dev ops down to protocol architecture, and auditing engagements from some of the largest projects in our industry and within the greater Cosmos ecosystem. Our workflow provides issuance that there are no critical security issues, or bugs that will jeopardize functionality. During the audit phase we will address all present issues with you along with potential remediations within scope.
Bug Bounty Program
Shout out to the likes of Code4Rena and a few others who run campaigns at scale with projects in an open and collaborative fashion. We think this ultimately will be where the industry heads over time in the coming decades along with some various changes that’ll be introduced in new concepts etc over the timeline. With that said we’d like to replicate such for various clients eventually on a select basis as well as host our own bounty initiative to work with our ecosystem partners on a continuous front.
Development
CC Labs is also the developmental arm to an early stage project within the Cosmos ecosystem, and will continue to provide similar deliverables within the manner we see fit. Even though we are not chain maximalists and see the greater vision and benefits of an interoperable ecosystem on an eventual timeline, we will be launching products and tooling that align with that ethos within the Cosmos as we’ve done in our own independent ventures prior.
