Project 4: Kafka Book Series Sketches

I plan on making book covers for three books by Franz Kafka: The Metamorphosis, The Castle, The Trial. The Metamorphosis is about a man who becomes a bug and so the cover incorporates that experience as a visual to the reader. The Castle is about a man who attempts to gain access to the local authorities that reside in a castle, hence the image pictured above. The Trial is about a man who gets a arrested for a crime unknown to him and the reader, correspondingly the cover illustrates a man behind bars peaking through. The illustration will mostly be abstract and focus on mainly two chosen colors, The Trial cover uses more in this sketch, but I plan to focus on yellow and pink, rather than yellow and red.
