Dennis Rodman May Go To JAIL

Remember Dennis Rodman? The former basketball star who was well known for doing crazy antics both on and off the basketball court? Well it looks like his latest stunt might earn him a criminal record and a jail sentence.

Dennis Rodman has just been officially charged with four misdemeanor criminal charges, including hit-and-run charges. These charges are based from his late-night wrong way freeway crash, which took place back in July of this year.

According to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Dennis has been charged with the following crimes:

• Hit-and-run with property damage.
• Driving a vehicle across a divider.
• Providing false information to a police officer.
• Driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

According to reports, if he is convicted on all four counts, he could face up to two years in jail.

The police reports state that Dennis Rodman was driving an SUV on the number 5 Freeway around 12:30 AM on July 20th after partying at a karaoke bar. He was driving northbound in the southbound carpool lane — in other words, he was driving the wrong way onto oncoming traffic.

The report continues that Dennis avoided a head-on collision, but fled the scene before the police arrived. He never exchanged any information with the other driver, whose car was damaged by Dennis’s reckless driving.

The report also states that Dennis lied to the police when they investigated the incident.

A representative for Dennis Rodman said the following:

“We agree that if anything, this is a misdemeanor traffic matter, and certainly not a felony. We appreciate the district attorney evaluation and know that it should resolve successfully when all facts are considered.”

Why was Dennis behind the wheel of a vehicle without a license? We don’t know. But we would not be surprised if it was revealed that he had one too many drinks at the karaoke bar.

Don’t drink and drive — after all, you’re not the only one on the road.
