Improving our Communication Culture with Non-Violent Communication

This week, the Celo team spent a day dedicated to improving our communication skills, while surrounded by nature. One of Celo’s core pillars in how we work is self-management, which requires a healthy way to communicate conflict. Our chosen method is non-violent communication, which involves speaking from universal needs. We’re looking forward to continuing to develop this skill with each other and the broader Celo community.

We had a successful user research and partnership trip in Tanzania and are working with the World Food Programme on next steps for the pilot. We also hosted a community event at Hub255 in Dar es Salaam and were impressed by the attendance and engagement — thank you Dar for the warm reception!
