Guide to Setting Up Google Authenticator for Hadar

As a multi-purpose crypto asset-storage application, most of crypto HODLer’s will take whatever precautions are necessary to ensure that their funds are as secure from cyber-crimes as possible. You can take the Hadar Wallet’s security up a notch by creating two-factor authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator, following the tutorial below.
1.Download Google Authenticator from the iOS App Store. For Android users, it can be downloaded from the Android Play Store.
2. Centaur strongly recommends that you write your Google Authenticator security key down on a physical piece of paper, and store it in a secure but memorable location. You are highly discouraged from storing your security key down on a device that is able to connect to the internet.

3. Open Google Authenticator. On the button right-hand corner, click the multi-coloured “plus” sign. Then click “Enter a setup key”.
4.. Enter “Hadar” into the “Account Name” field. Enter your security key into the “Key” field, then click “Add”.
5. A six-digit code will be generated for “Hadar”. Click on this and copy it to your clipboard.
6. Open your Hadar application and click on “Next”. Paste the six-digit code from your clipboard and click “Confirm”. Do this as quickly as you possibly can-your six-digit code expires in a mere 15 seconds!
