Collaboration is the word at ONA and the Online Journalism Awards

The importance of collaboration was threaded throughout presentations and the acceptance speeches of honored journalism projects.

This year’s Online Journalism Awards included the new category to recognize excellence in collaboration and partnerships.
The three finalists for the OJA award recognizing excellence in collaboration and partnerships were Verificado 2018, Paradise Papers: Secrets of the Global Elite and Crossing the Digital Divide.
Alba Mora, Fergus Bell and An Xiao Mina accepted the award on behalf of AJ + Español, Animal Político and Pop-Up Newsroom. You can watch their acceptance speech here starting at 1:42:00.
