Da Vinci sighed in relief. After several failures, his time machine finally worked. He decided to visit the future to talk with great scientists while they were still young, and that his first meeting would be with Sir Isaac Newton.
When he arrived, young Newton was sitting idly in the apple orchard behind his childhood home. Newton was ecstatic to meet Da Vinci, his idol. For the next two hours Da Vinci talked about science, art, and engineering. Newton listened with rapt attention.
Newton was so engrossed in their conversation that he missed the apple that fell from the tree.
