The IT department at Armageddon, Inc scrambled to undo what had just happened. GPT-4 had somehow been released before the coding was complete.

Steve tried stopping the program, but the code continually expanded — writing itself.

“Are you getting this, Steve?” the senior tech asked.

“Yes.. I’m-ma-getting-it.”

For those of you who are interested, this story is about some of the freaky things GPT-3 is capable of and what could result from GPT-4.

This title was taken from the Def Leppard song, “Armageddon It.” It is rumored the band came up with the name for this tune by flipping through a hymn book backstage before one of their shows. This makes sense knowing that the word “Armageddon” is a biblical term referring to the battle between good and evil before Judgment Day, which has absolutely nothing to do with the meaning of the song. “Armageddon It,” does, however, conveniently rhyme with “Are you gettin’ it?” which you can see in the lyrics.
