John got laid off Friday and moped all day Saturday. Sunday, he went to church. The parking lot was empty. Then he remembered Daylight Saving Time. Arrgh!

John watched a squirrel gathering acorns. Consider the ravens, he thought. God will provide. John went home; he had just gotten his sermon.

“Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!” — Luke 12:24

Based on the prompt: Write a 50-word story about changing the clocks for Daylight Saving and Standard Time.
