Round and round we spin. No sound. No sight.
Just the two of us. Whirling together as if there was music in the night.
We had started this beautiful journey of footloose and fancy-free many decades ago. We continued on for no reason other than the joy of being joined as one.
Step up, step back, step forward. Waltz together as if there is no tomorrow. Sometimes salsa, sometimes ballet, Sometimes hip-hop.
Years of training had taught us well.
We would dance softly into that good night.
Together. Alone. No sound. No sight.
Just the two of us.
