“We’ve lost them! Can you believe that?” Amy seemed indignant.

I had been speeding twice over my 100 miles speed limit. There was a high to blurring yourself into a silhouette, from slipping off the radar.

We were far from home and exhausted. Amy wondered whether it’d be risque if she took a piss on the road, when the car screeched to a sudden halt.

“Wait, nooooo….”

Red sirens grew louder and louder.

“Can’t shimmy too long on pure fool chance, love.”

Amy gets out of the car to squat behind it before she retorts, “Yea, fine. I’m all in.”
