Central Kia Plano explains that the rear occupant alert detects movement of kids or pets in the rear seats after you have stopped the vehicle. The movement is detected, and the driver is alerted through an in-dash reminder that becomes more intense as you exit the vehicle and lock the doors. The Telluride will also send you a message straight to your phone to remind you that someone has been left behind.

This confidence is largely due to the outstanding drive assist systems which include, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance, and Lane Follow Assist.
