CEO Aaron McDonald shares key developments over the past month

The biggest highlight of this month was launching our very first demo at Japan Blockchain Conference last week. It was great to get up on the main stage at JBC and demonstrate Centrality’s ecosystem working in real time — best of all, it went without a glitch. Japan is one of the most active and advanced markets for blockchain meaning they know good from bad, so it was all the more rewarding launching our demo there.

To see what we’ve been up to previously, check out June’s update here.

Platform: Pl^g

Plug development continues strongly and the team are aiming to have the Alpha release of the product available sometime by next month. The team has started its security audit process with two world-leading security firms. This will give us a thorough review of the code and confidence moving towards our goal of open-source later this year. With the demo running live on the Plug platform at JBC, morale in the team has been on a high.

Core services

  1. Centrapay has partnered with a tier 1 global provider of hardware terminals to enable the acceptance of cryptocurrency within retail environments. We demonstrated how this works at the JBC and we have at least five other exciting partners lined up to sign with Centrapay to connect blockchain to retail sales environments.
  2. SingleSource had its first demo in Japan last week, a world-first showcase of the SingleSource mobile app interacting with the Centrality ecosystem with a Plug-enabled smart KYC contract.
  3. SingularX released a mobile-friendly version of the website and continued developing the API and light wallet feature. The team also gave back to our token holders by completing an Airdrop of 5,000,000 SNGZ into the CENNZ token.
  4. Blockhaus TGE app 2.0 is completed and we are in the process of arranging an Airdrop of our new KYC token to wallets we have already approved. This new non-fungible, non-transferable token will allow wallet owners to interact with KYC enabled smart contracts directly and those contracts can trust that the wallet is pre-approved for KYC.
  5. Sylo was the star of the show at JBC we showed the existing messaging platforms what true privacy looks like, how DApps can be user friendly and how Sylo will make accessing exciting DApps in the centrality ecosystem as easy as using Line or WeChat.

Platform interface: Causality

The Causality team have developed a Crypto Market Sentiment dashboard that provides insight into what the market is saying about specific ICOs, coins, or tokens. The Market Sentiment dashboard leverages the same AI and Machine Learning pipeline that is used to power the Causality ICO Analyzer and can be used to provide early warning of any news or chatter that could prove to be market moving.

Featured DApps

  1. Blockeeper is a bookkeeping software that will soon go to market. The team is really looking forward to launching this ‘on the books’ blockchain solution. Development of additional features, such as tracking and paying IOUs between users, is already underway for the next version. With tax and regulation starting to form around cryptocurrencies, this will be an essential tool for blockchain companies to start working with. Talks about integration with a leading accounting software provider are in progress.
  2. TrackBack has partnered with four of New Zealand’s leading enterprises and producers on a supply chain traceability solution for New Zealand. The aim is to showcase New Zealand products in international markets by proving product authenticity, provenance and quality across the entire supply chain.
  3. ARDA was on show for all to see at the JBC. The AIMY app was demonstrated with the ARDA token wallet and rewards system. Combining world-class fitness coaching with exciting incentives is going to make a real difference in personal health and wellness. We are close to finalizing the Japanese Translation of AIMY.

Later this month we’ll be revealing an exciting new project called Project Everest — stay tuned.
