It’s spring here in New Zealand and the business is in full bloom — we continue to see amazing things come out of the woods with the teams hard at work on getting their next releases shipped.

In terms of expanding our reach globally, we just announced our partnership with Barcelona-based iomob to launch our decentralized mobility protocol. This exciting project will allow cities and small transport operators to innovate on open protocols and reduce the monopoly power some private transport start ups are imposing on our mobility landscape.

We also hosted our partner Jasmy from Japan with a series of workshops locally to design the next production environment release goals.

To see what we’ve been up to previously, check out August’s update here.

Core Services

1. Centrapay

Centrapay is working hard on new APIs and hooks for merchant-to-merchant payments and we have some exciting announcements coming in the near future around this. They have also been working on new types of multi-sig authorizations to make multi-step payment processes run smoother.

2. SingleSource

SingleSource had received its first two government agency approvals. It is now an official Identity Confirmation Service intermediary for the Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand, and has also been granted access to the Drivers License Verification Service with NZ Transport Agency. This service is being integrated directly into the SingleSource blockchain identity solution and DApp, allowing direct verification of NZ passports, citizenships and drivers licenses. We believe this kind of deep integration with national identity systems may be a world first for a DApp.

The SingleSource TGE will be launching soon so keep an eye out for the token sales details and pre-register to get your KYC approved so you don’t miss out on this exciting piece of the ecosystem.

3. SingularX

SingularX has commenced a UI revamp of light mode to improve the platform’s performance and user experience. Feedback from the community, via Centrality’s joint partner SingularDTV, was taken on board for the round of changes. The platform will soon become a production app and no longer be in beta mode. Woo!

4. Sylo

It has been a packed month for the Sylo team, releasing their closed alpha, which is now being put through its paces by a very savvy set of testers. The team is looking forward to presenting their latest updates during their keynote at Asean Decentralised Conference in Kuala Lumpur next week — if you’re there check them out. Sylo also has some very exciting product collaborations in the pipeline, which they will be revealing in the coming weeks!

Featured dApps

1. Causality

Over the last month Causality have been working on the “Blockscan” Ethereum to SQL and Blockscan Full Node APIs project. There’s so much value in the underlying ethereum transactional data — in terms of understanding transaction velocity, the flows between wallets, the distribution of value, & the aggregated and segmented stakeholder behaviors.

2. Arda

Arda’s AppleWatch Series 3 app is now live to a group of private beta testers! Feedback will be used to develop the app further into a fitness coaching experience that users love. In B2B news, Performance Lab is delighted to support the Vi 2.0 coaching headset (launched in August) using Arda’s cloud-based planning logic for personalized training plans.
