One of the core services in the Centrality ecosystem, the TGE app has pushed out a brand-new release. Formerly the Blockhaus app, the brand has changed to reflect our roadmap towards providing a range of different TGE services from DIY through to Securities compliant listings. If you purchased CENNZ tokens using the Blockhaus application, check out the new improved TGE app.

The TGE Sales App is now ready to use here.

What is the TGE App?

The TGE Token Sales app is a KYC/AML buyer and distributor validation application and token sales exchange. It is a fully decentralized, customized peer-to-peer exchange, that allows only approved investors to participate in token purchases. TGE app never holds the investors’ currency and the token purchase is completed via a smart contract.

Why has it been created?

ICOs have become a popular class of investment and have generated in excess of $1b in funding in just the last few months alone. But with very few controls on investors, there is a growing concern that responsible investment practices are being followed.

TGE app takes the ICO down a new path, the TGE (Token Generating Event). This structure is designed to produce property that has real value and drive a process that is compliant. The TGE Token Sales Application helps ensure responsible investment practices are followed so that investors and entrepreneurs are protected.

What improvements were made in the new release?

The latest version of the TGE Sales app has been a complete overhaul with new usability and security features added. Some major changes include the following:

Boosted security

· Passwords now have a 15-character minimum length requirement

· There is real-time risk profiling warning for account credentials appearing in known data breaches

· Two-factor authentication has been implemented:

· Users can now set up Two-Factor Authentication during signup process or in the new Account Security screen

Improved usability

· Users can manage account security settings all from the same page

· A more usable Profile and Verification Completeness dashboard has been added to their respective pages

Better interfaces

· Separate screens have been implemented for Profile, Verification, Account Security sections

· Account Verifications are now contained within a specific verification screen instead of a part of users’ profiles.
