Go Fund Me page for Alton Sterlings Family Surpasses $315,000
A Go Fund Me page has been set up by Issa Rae, to raise money for Alton Sterlings Family after he was fatally shot by police on Wednesday.
The page was set up to give the money family to pay for his children college fees and money for the family in general now the Father is not around.
The ‘Story’ on the page reads:
If you feel helpless, but want to play a small part in easing the burden of #AltonSterling’s family, consider donating to this scholarship fund for his 15-year-old son (and his other kids).
*ALL* funds raised will go to Alton Sterling’s family.
Since the huge amount of donations on the page there have been several updates from Issa Rae.
Thank you for helping us raise the goal! I just got off the phone with the Sterling family attorney who is aware of the GoFundMe and has asked me to call back tomorrow, as the family is (naturally) overwhelmed at this time. Will keep you all posted!

The page has now raised over $315,000 for the Sterling Family. Although nothing will replace their Farther the money will help them to get a better future for them selves.
The page has had over 10,500 donations and 29,000 shares on Facebook.
Since I started writing this article £15,000 has been donated on the page.
