DoDream Studying Abroad Platform Meeting
Hello! We are DoDreamChain:)
Last week, we held a meeting with DoDream Korea headquarters and a local corporation in Vietnam. This meeting was held to better serve the needs of real users.
Participants in the meeting were recruited through social media operated by DoDream for internatinal students studying in Korea and those wanting to study in Korea.
In the era of 140,000 international students studying in Korea, students from Vietnam, Mongolia, and Indonesia, which had the largest number of foreign students coming to Korea, were recruited, and the age range was diverse from late teens to mid-20s.
In a friendly atmosphere, the meeting was held with questions about the preparation process for studying abroad, studying abroad in Korea, plans after graduation, and evaluation of DoDream site. We were able to talk about the difficulties and services of studying abroad in Korea that only foreign students would know about.
We thought it would be difficult to use services such as insurance, banking, and telecommunications for foreigners who are not fluent in Korean after coming to Korea for the first time, but we also realized that international students were most curious about the information about the dormitory of Korean universities and especially scholarships.
It was a valuable time to get a new perspective on our site and services that the DoDream project team couldn’t catch.
