HOW TO SEND US YOUR FILES
When providing your artwork, please format your final files as a PDF, Ai, or EPS.
DOES YOUR ARTWORK EXCEED 10MB?
Files up to 10MB can be sent by e-mail.
If your artwork exceeds 10 MB, you can send us your files via WeTransfer; which is a website that allows you to upload & send large file sizes. If the scenario calls for it, your account manager will provide an email address to deliver your uploads.
// A note for long term clients only
We provide our long-term clients with a DropBox folder for uploading their production files. This will serve as a your inventory folder giving you the ability to easily place orders for your on-going projects.
FILES CREATED WITH ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD:
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat from CS4 will be accepted
TEXT: Convert text to outlines and please ensure to supply us with all fonts required for your project.
IMAGES: Convert images to CMYK (no RGB images please) and include all linked images.
FINISHED DIMENSIONS: Set document/page size to your desired final dimension.
BLEED: Images that bleed off the edge must include at least 0.5” to 1” of bleed. If you are looking to print on canvas, we recommend adding a 2.5-inch bleed for wrapping on wooden bars.
- Extra large graphics (Over 25ft x 10ft) approx. 75 dpi at finished size.
- Large graphics (25ft x 10ft) approx. 100 dpi at finished size.
- Medium graphics (15ft x 8ft) approx. 150 dpi at finished size
- Canvas graphics approx. 300 dpi at finished size.
FILES CREATED OUTSIDE OF ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD:
Corel Draw, Freehand, QuarkXpress, etc…
FORMAT: Export to PDF.
TEXT: Convert all text to outlines.
COLOUR: Use CMYK colours. If you send your files as RGB colours it will result in a colour shift.
FINISHED SIZE: Create artwork to size (including bleed if needed).
COMPUTER CUT GRAPHICS: All files need to be vector line art with solid colours only.
CUT-TO-SHAPE GRAPHICS: Files require separate cutlines as stroked paths on a separate layer for accurate cutting.
CAUTIONS (Heads up!)
CEREBRUM MARKETING GROUP WILL NOT ACCEPT LOW RESOLUTION JPG, PDF, GIF OR BMP FILES.
File sizes of a few hundred kilobytes (KB) do not print very well, even at small dimensions. Re-scaling low resolution files to larger resolutions will not improve the print quality.
If colour matching is critical for your project, we require a printed colour target for accurate colour reproduction.
If you have any more questions regarding the above, let me know!
Thanks for your time. Have a great day!
