Masahiro Sakurai Youtube on Game Dev
Discovered that the designer and director of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros has an extensive YouTube channel on game development which started over a year ago. I do like it gives a peek into the design philosophy of Nintendo through the educational videos.
The videos are well edited and information quite different from Dev Logs. It has the style of a NHK News TV style presenter program.
Topics are general but it covers design, marketing, tech and other aspects of working in games and work ethics.

Quitting YouTube for Next Game Project
Unfortunately the YouTube channel will have no new updates as heh quietly announced quitting YouTube the end of the videos sometime around August 2024.
It’s possible he might be ramping up on a new game Project some speculating the next Smash Bros or something else.
