Intro: Sun — Academy Mid

Josh “Sun” Cook (@ZedxLoL)also joins our Academy team as Mid!

Q: What got you started in League?
A:
I was introduced to League by my brother. I would spend many hours in my early teens playing with him. I fell in the love with League and have been playing it ever since!

Q: What’s your personal take on Challenger transitioning into Academy League?
A:
I think it is a great change for the professional esports scene. The transition is bringing a level of legitimacy and professionalism that is very much needed. Having both LCS and Academy teams under the same organizations, we can see a lot more players moving up in the ranks and transitioning to professionals and, as an added benefit, reduces less professional orgs from being created. We will also start seeing newer blood coming into the scene and becoming pros.

Q: What made you decide to join Clutch Gaming?
A:
I joined Clutch because I felt this would be a great opportunity to develop myself as a player as the team offered the opportunity of playing with other experienced players and staff.

Q: Do you have any tips for aspiring pro-league players out there?
A: As I’m still developing myself I don’t have many words of wisdom yet. But, what I can say is, having a mindset of self improvement and not blaming others is imperative if you want to make it anywhere.

Q: What are you looking forward to most in 2018?
A:
I’m looking forward to playing with the Clutch Gaming Academy Team and getting into the competitive scene!
