The way of the warrior

is filled with ups and downs,

adversity and victory,

defeat and struggle.

Being misunderstood is expected,

that’s what happens when you put yourself out there.

Follow the vibes;

those who are on your plane will come to you,

those who are not will give you clues.

Let them go.

Stick to your guns,

keep doing the good work,

keep putting out the good vibes.

You will fall,

that’s guaranteed.

How quickly will you dust yourself off?

Going uphill is good,

you get fitter and stronger.

And higher is better, for the views are nicer.

Life will trick you,

make you believe the good times are here to stay,

but then all of a sudden,

you’ve taken two steps back.

But all the while,

you need to remember,

the Universe has your back.

If you’re not stumbling often,

it’s because you need to learn something,

or you need to change something.

Stick to your guns.
