The Future of C4E: Roadmap to the New EV Paradigm
C4E stands as a beacon of progress in the domain of the future of energy, backed by innovative undertakings and the unwavering dedication to revolutionizing the energy sector. Our journey from humble beginnings to this day has been remarkable, paved with lots of noteworthy achievements, critical collaborations, and promising plans for the future.
We have been aiming at excellence in places where other projects took an easy way — from excelling at decentralization and being one of the most decentralized Cosmos blockchains accordin to Observatory Zone to creating MVP products with BMW foundation at the Blockchain City project.
Before talking about the future, let’s evaluate the past
2021/2022 The foundational year and big leap forward
C4E embarked on its journey with a transformative vision. In 2021, which stands as the foundational year, the company was successfully initiated, marking the birth of C4E. This phase was characterized by significant accomplishments, most notably securing a remarkable funding of $600K.
Transitioning to 2022, we made its foray into the renewable energy domain. This year was earmarked by the successful deployment of the Mainnet (which as it was previously mentioned is excelling in decentralization). This year we witnessed the meticulous development of an MVP for the Energy Platform and a pioneering Testnet, laying down the foundational pillars for the company’s ambitious roadmap. Moreover, we have reached an innovative milestone by completing the Energy Tokenization Proof of Concept (PoC), setting the tone for future endeavors in the energy sector.
2023 Integrating & Elevating EV Solutions
Even though 2023 is not yet finished it can be labeled as the “Year of Integration and Advancements” for C4E. The amalgamation of Cosmos Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) Protocol into our platform heralded a new era of seamless interoperability and unparalleled functionality — especially since the Cosmos itself made great advancements with Replicated Security among other things.
This year also was about strengthening the very core of our operations, adding an invaluable layer of security and efficiency through the development of Business Digital Authentication & KYC.
EV charging and Green Energy Certificates
Yet, what truly set 2023 apart was our monumental collaboration with the BMW Foundation. This partnership bore fruit with the launch of the EV Charging Proof of Concept (PoC), intertwining energy solutions with simple-to-use charging technology and billing by EV charger hosts. We have already integrated first chargers while using the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) which is an open-source communication standard for EV charging stations and network software companies. Simply put, any EV charging station that is OCPP-compliant can be configured to run any similarly OCPP-compliant software. Therefore, our solution is integrable with many chargers in the market.
With sustainability at its core, the inception of the Green Energy Certificates MVP further positioned C4E as a forerunner in promoting eco-friendly solutions in the energy domain.
2023 is still here
While many achievements came to the landscape of 2023, the C4E journey hasn’t reached its zenith. Our Energy Communities Platform MVP is under diligent progress, promising to reshape how communities perceive and interact with energy and can significantly lower their energy costs. Simultaneously, the wheels are in motion for the development of C4E Charging Network Solutions, set to redefine the EV charging experience.
2024 and beyond
The horizon of 2024 promises a great opportunity for C4E, with our clear objective of rolling out groundbreaking products across European markets. As part of our ambitious expansion strategy, the activation of the Sales Force Division is poised to bring heightened dynamism and outreach to our operations especially the EV charging ones.
Apart from that the pivotal launch scheduled is the Energy Communities Platform, which is expected to be a game-changer in community-driven sustainable energy solutions.
In a bid to democratize energy access and distribution, our Energy P2P Energy Trading system is set to foster a decentralized energy billing by C4E. The year also anticipates the introduction of ‘C4E Connect for EV Charging,’ a system integrating both FIAT and Token Payment mechanisms, offering great flexibility to users. The application won’t just be confined to niche platforms but will proudly be accessible to millions through Apple Store and Google Play.
While 2024 shines with planned accomplishments, the much-anticipated Token Public Sale & Listing looms large, contingent on prevailing market conditions. In essence, 2024 isn’t just another year for C4E. During this year we want our products to be available and spread on a large scale. The next years beyond 2024 are going to be dedicated to expanding even further globally.
