How to Install Keplr IBC for Game of Zones
UPDATE 2 (June 10, 2020): A new version of Keplr IBC has been released which adds support for sending ‘CLEAN, FEED, PLAY’ tokens to play stakefish’s Tamagotchi game. Please remove the previous version of Keplr IBC (v0.5.4) from Chrome and install the new release here.
UPDATE 1 (June 3, 2020): Keplr IBC for GOZ has been updated to support Phase-3 of Game of Zones. Download/install procedures remain the same.
Bringing the Power of IBC to Keplr
From day 1 of building Keplr, our focus has been to provide tools for the interchain that allow builders to build easier and users to use easier. With the ongoing Game of Zones and the ongoing improvements to the IBC protocol, the vision of the internet of blockchains feels more real than ever.
To allow everyone to get a glimpse of how the IBC-enabled Cosmos ecosystem looks like, we’ve built an early proof-of-concept version of Keplr IBC that allows you to send tokens between various blockchains that exist in Game of Zones.
Note: Keplr IBC is currently connected to the Game of Zones adversarial testnet. Due to the nature of adversarial testnets, there may be frequent service disruptions and connection issues.
How to Install Keplr GOZ

- Download ‘keplr-goz.zip’ and unzip it
2. Open Chrome and click on ‘Menu’ > ‘More Tools’ > ‘Extensions
3. Enable ‘Developer Mode’ and select ‘Load unpacked’
4. Navigate to the unzipped keplr-goz directory, and click ‘Select’
5. Once you see ‘Keplr 0.5.4’, you’re good to go! Open up Keplr GOZ and create an account!
How to use Keplr GOZ
Once you’ve installed Keplr GOZ and successfully create an account, you will see the following screen on Keplr Extension.
You can select various supported GoZ zones by clicking on the Chain name above, and receive free tokens to send around from the faucet.
When you send your tokens, make sure you select ‘IBC’ as the transaction type and select the destination chain for your interchain token transfer. Note that once the transaction has been sent, you may need to wait for 10–15 seconds as the transaction is relayed from one chain to the other.
