An Introduction to the BoostScore

Central to ChainBoost is the BoostScore, a measure similar to a credit score that rewards a user’s participation and loyalty within the ChainGuardians ecosystem.
A wide range of factors play into a user’s BoostScore, including one-time bonuses and points awarded over time. Let’s take a look at the factors that comprise the BoostScore….
1) $CGG Holdings
Most impactful to BoostScore is the amount of $CGG (ChainGuardians Governance Token) held. $CGG may be held on BSC, Polygon, or Ethereum, with additional chains possibly added in the future. Token holdings across all applicable chains totaling more than 10,000 $CGG make the holder eligible for an additional BoostScore bonus.
2) NFTs Held (Captain/Guardian)
The number of Captain and Guardian ChainGuardians NFTs held is the next factor considered in calculating BoostScore. The more Captain and Guardian NFTs you hold, the higher your BoostScore!
Character rankings can be seen under “Properties” on individual NFTs in the Official ChainGuardians Collection on Opensea.
3) NFTs Held (Lieutenant/Officer)
Beyond the Captain/Guardian ChainGuardians NFTs, the number of Lieutenant and Officer (CGTLE) NFTs held is also factored in, to a maximum of +100 BoostScore.
4) Hashrate
BoostScore analyzes the nine highest hashrates associated with your ChainGuardians NFTs. A higher total means a greater BoostScore boost.

5) $CGG Holding Habits
The $CGG transactions of participants are analyzed to identify and penalize speculative trading of the token. Selling $CGG requires the repurchase of two times the amount sold to get back to the previous BoostScore total for this category.
Note: Bridging tokens within the same wallet is not penalized.
6) NFT Loyalty Bonus
The longer you’re a good parent to your ChainGuardians NFTs, the higher your potential BoostScore bonuses.
7) First-Time Mining Bonus
Participating in NFT mining on the ChainGuardians platform grants a one-time boost in BoostScore.
8) Allocation Loyalty Score
Acquiring and holding allocations offered on the ChainBoost platform represents a commitment to the long-term success of the projects and is rewarded with a BoostScore boost.
For example:
If the maximum number of tokens available through a ChainBoost campaign is 1000, acquiring up to 1000 tokens through the campaign and holding this amount or more going forward will result in a boost to the BoostScore.
9) Game History Score
The most exciting of the BoostScore boosts is the Game History Score, which rewards active engagement in the ChainGuardians RPG and NFT Mining. Daily participation in both the RPG and NFT Mining is rewarded according to the following rules:
- +1 to BoostScore for each day participating in RPG/Mining
- BoostScore rewards only accrue after five consecutive days
For example, playing the RPG and mining for three days in a row and then missing a day results in no BoostScore boost, and the potential boost will reset. Playing and mining for five days in a row following that reset will result in +1 BoostScore per day for a total of +5 BoostScore. Each time the five-day total is achieved it is permanently added to the BoostScore.
10) Penalty for Non-Contributing Winners
Failing to contribute after expressing interest and winning a spot in a ChainBoost IDO will result in a BoostScore deduction of 100 points. This applies only to IDOs, not INOs.
Note: In response to feedback, a toggle has been added to the button for expressing interest. If you express interest, you will have the option to remove interest while registration remains open with no BoostScore penalty applied.
11) Staking and LP Contribution
Staking and LP contribution contribute to the BoostScore on a flat percentage basis according to platform:
Internal staking bonus (on ChainGuardians’ website) — .75% * amount of $CGG staked
- Example: .75% * 10,000 $CGG internally staked = +75 BoostScore
External staking bonus (LPs on decentralized exchanges, such as Quickswap) — .5% * amount of $CGG staked
- Example: .5% * 10,000 $CGG externally staked = +50 Boostscore
Note: Staking and LP contributions may also be eligible for time-related bonuses, in addition to the one-time bonuses listed above.
12) ChainBunnies
Holding ChainBunnies results in a total BoostScore bonus of up to +500 points.
